Mara Maisha Camp is a luxury tented camp located just 4.5km from Talek Gate of the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. It offers 40 fully furnished luxurious units complete with dining & bar facilities.
You will be met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or hotel to be briefed by a company representative and then drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.
You will arrive in time for lunch, then relax or enjoy a swim in the camp's infinity pool. At 16:00 leave for an afternoon game drive in the reserve, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Today you'll have a full day is spent at the Masai Mara National Reserve. Driving across the plains in search of the big cats (black manned lions, cheetahs and leopards) with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeests and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period when the annual migrations take place. Millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You will also have a chance to see other plain game like the topi, hartebeest, and eland. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.
Take an early morning game drive at 6.30 am before breakfast. This time is referred to as hunting time and it will give you an opportunity to see animals hunting. Then get back to the camp for breakfast, and have a game drive en route to Nairobi city. We will have stopovers in the town to give you a chance to buy souvenirs, arriving late in the afternoon. Afterwards, we will take you to the airport or to your preferred hotel.
