Elerai Camp is located in a quiet, unspoilt, unique setting on a 5000 acre private conservation area 12 kms south east of Amboseli National Park at the foot of Africa’s Largest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. The camp looks down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt Kilimanjaro in the other direction, giving clients what is arguably the best location of any camp in Amboseli.
The camp currently has 12 mountain facing Deluxe Tents and 5 large Cottage Rooms. Both the Deluxe Tents and the cottage rooms have en-suite bathrooms whereby the cottage rooms also have luxurious baths in addition to the shower. The facilities are supplied with hot running water provided by eco friendly solar units.
Itinerary
Day 2
Full Day in Amboseli
Start the day with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting!). Today you will venture out for morning and evening safari drives with lunch break in between. Experience the African wilderness in its full glory—spotting The Big Five, an abundance of birdlife, and herds of elephants up close. Make sure to take advantage of a unique aerial view from the observation point!
There is a visit to a traditional Maasai village before retiring back to your camp for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3
Departure to Nairobi
After you've enjoyed your breakfast, it's time to depart for Nairobi. You will be dropped at the Emali train station for your train back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival, we'll drop you off at your hotel or the airport to conclude your 3-day Amboseli National Park safari adventure with a smile!
